generosity builds plenty in every aspect of life
The Gifts in Romans
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Generosity
* smile at your neighbour

Generosity
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
every blessing comes from God
being generous is a decision we make based on God’s blessing
being generous is not a human trait but one of the Spirit
you will abound in every good work
you will have all you need and you will have it abundantly
the emphasis is the direction of your prosperity - the mindset behind it
Focus of Your Generosity
your prosperity is for others not for you
our sinful carnal nature will always make it about you
I want and desire my comfort
yet my spiritual nature - getting stronger every day
my spiritual nature desires your benefit by my good works
I bless you (that is the plan) so God continues to pour out blessing to maintain that
start thinking about yourself and the devil begins to win
Generous of Heart
Generous of Heart
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
being generous is a decision we make based on God’s blessing
being generous is not a human trait but one of the Spirit
we do not compel anyone to be generous
nor do we grudgingly be generous
as Christ freely and willingly gave his all, so the same spirit of generosity should be shown by us
we must operate out of strength - you must have a $ to give a $
the strength is not our prosperity
our strength is our generosity
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by impure spirits were cured,
Luke
Blessings that Flow from Generosity
24 One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
25 A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
we have a spiritual principle at work here
giving freely creates more
it is not winning lotto or the like
it happens because when we line up our lives with the principle of God’s generosity
then the power and purpose of God becomes manifest = blessings to flow
we open God’s blessings when we are lined up with his principles
Generous in Speech
talk about encouraging others
our speech is most likely to be that vessel
let us be generous with our speech
encourage one another with words - that is a generosity
let us be generous with grace and with love in our language
let us build others up rather than expecting something in return
Generous in Time
we are called to be children of light, to be sons and daughters of the most High
we are called to serve others
this requires a generosity in our time
are we willing to give up our own pursuits to do the work of the
Generous in Giftings
Generous in Giftings
our gifts and talents are for the blessings of others
be determined to build and develop those gifts
using them is best practice
do not be afraid of making mistakes - that will help you grow your gifts
Generous in Finances
this is not about giving more money to the church
yes we should be looking to give what is known as a tithe 10% as an act of obedience
yes we should be constantly coming before God to know what God has asked them to give
do you help people - K & J paid for a young German backpacker’s dinner at Noosa
the thought came into my head, the heart felt right and we paid it - $16 or so but it was a blessing
