Matthew 14:27–31 CSB
Immediately Jesus spoke to them. “Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter answered him, “command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the strength of the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”
We know this Passage, it is one of the most iconic passages for losing faith, but their is so many little details that we tend to overlook when we read this passage about the way Christ truly cared for us and how we should truly care for others.
I want to look at some of the underlining details that are in this passage and some things nobody ever thinks about, and how it relates to our lives daily wither we choose to believe it or not.
First off we start with the Challenge that was made.

The Challenge

See in the passage we see they though Jesus was a ghost and even after he reassured them that it was in fact him Peter still goes and challenges him to prove it. so Jesus does that.
We often tend to over look how much this actually means to us when reading it. see Peter challenges God for proof that he was God. Even though he is being given all the proof that he needs while watching him walk on water.
How often in our lives do we tend to challenge God even when we see him working in our lives. Rather than chose to believe the proof we tend to require more proof.
See then we end up how peter did with a choice to make and it becomes a hard choice to make do you get out of the boat and trust in that God is the God he says he is or Do you stay in the boat and watch from the sidelines much like what the other disciples did.
See Peter knew what the water was like when in the boat he knew the depth of the water, temperature of the water. yet he still made the chose to find out the truth about God and was willing to follow and find out because he had the desire to do it.
We have to have that desire to find out what it is like to Experience God when he is working in our lives. It starts with how we act in our live everyday.
Ex) the way you act at

NonChristians
When we start to care about taking the challenge for getting out of the Boat they we end up in the second part of the passage that applies to our lives.

The Savior

See when Peter started to lose track he cried out to God and found that Christ was there to pull him out of the water.
Often time is our lives we start to sink with things that are going on in our lives at home it depends on us whether we decide to want to be pulled out of the water or not.
Do you want to come out of the water?
That is a questions that you have to ask your self do you want out of the water to a savior that loves you and is calling out to you Are you ready to answer?
