The Role of Government

Romans 13:1–7 KJV 1900
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

To Punish Evil

Romans 13:3 KJV 1900
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

To Praise Good

Romans 13:3 KJV 1900
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

To Promote Justice

Romans 13:4 KJV 1900
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

The Root of Government

Genesis 9:1–7 KJV 1900
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.

The Avenging of Life

Genesis 9:5–6 KJV 1900
And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. 6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Our Responsibility to Government

Respect the Position

Romans 13:1 KJV 1900
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

Respect the Power

Rom
Romans 13:2 KJV 1900
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

Remember to Pray

1 Timothy 2:1–4 KJV 1900
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Reward the Principled

Romans 13:7 KJV 1900
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

ARTICLES & VIDEOS
Everyday, the media try to convince us that the President is racist, rude, crude, unpresidential, a chauvinist, and pompous. And as Christians, they try to tell us that being in favor of his administration makes us hypocritical.
It has been estimated that 93% of the main-stream media’s reporting on the President is negative.
He has been under scrutiny and investigations for three years, and they still have to make up crimes.
A wise Christian, and a wise civilian, will not allow someone else to form an opinion for them. They will examine it for themselves.
I encourage you to seek out your information for yourself, and then form your opinions about this President and his administration.
You may be surprised to discover that he’s not the man they portray him to be. He may have been once, but we believe that people can change.

With a record like this, and with what the Administration has yet to accomplish, I want to assure you, Christians can, and, in my personal opinion, support and earnestly pray for this President.
He’s not your pastor, he’s not going to be perfect, but he’s fighting for principles we thought we’d already lost.
LORD’S SUPPER SERVICE
1 Corinthians 11:23–26 KJV 1900
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
