How to Handle Your Haters
How to Handle Your Haters
Introduction
The Urban Dictionary defines a hater in these words...
“A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.
Let me suggest that hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy.
The hater doesn’t really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock someone else down a notch.”
In chapter 3, Nehemiah is leading the children of Israel in the work.
The purpose of Nehemiah’s writing and our purpose today is to give you tools to handle and deal with the haters!

TALK TO GOD ABOUT YOUR HATERS!
“Nehemiah prayed, “Oh listen to us, dear God. We’re so despised: Boomerang their ridicule on their heads; have their enemies cart them off as war trophies to a land of no return; don’t forgive their iniquity, don’t wipe away their sin—they’ve insulted the builders!” (Peterson, Eugene H. The Message: The Bible in Contemporary Language. Colorado Springs, CO: NavPress, 2005)

, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you...”

“ 6 So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof for the people had a mind to work.” (The Holy Bible: King James Version. Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009(

We kept at it, repairing and rebuilding the wall. The whole wall was soon joined together and halfway to its intended height because the people had a heart for the work

One of the premier pastors and preachers of our time, Bishop TD Jakes, Senior Pastor at the Potters House Dallas says preached a message in a series about Moses entitled “DON’T LET THE CHATTER STOP YOU”
DON’T LET THE CHATTER DETER YOU!
DON’T LET THE CHATTER DETAIN YOU!
DON’T LET THE CHATTER DISTRACT YOU!
DON’T LET THE CHATTER HOLD YOU BACK!
DON’T LET THE CHATTER HINDER YOU!
DON’T LET THE CHATTER STOP YOU!
PRESS ON! PRESS ON!
1. I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining every day;
Still praying as I’m onward bound,
“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”
Refrain:
Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heaven’s tableland,
A higher plane than I have found;
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
There was another who had a goal and mission! But he did not let the chatter stop Him...
-They said if He was who He said He was, to come down off the cross and save Himself! They mocked at Him. They railed at Him!
But He would not come down!
I’m so glad He didn’t let the chatter stop HIM!
