Sermon Scripture

The Blessing in what I havent Seem.docx
I have been young, and now I am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

David composed this Psalm in the latter years of his life, and he wrote it with the authority of one who had lived long enough to see these principle come to pass.

is an Acrostic in the original language which means it is a poem in which the first letter of each line spells out a word, message or the Hebraic alphabet.

This 37th number of Psalms has much in common with the wisdom literature found in Proverbs and has parallel statements and emphasis on the righteous and the wicked.

Unlike most Psalms, is addresses directly to the people and not God. It picks up where psalm 36 left off by dealing with our response to the wickedness of evildoers. (Pause) “37 Psalm”

David took pen and parchment and wrote to comfort and teach God’s people with the assurance that God is righteous and if you looking for someone you can trust, you can trust in the LORD!!!
