GOD GOODNESS IS DELICIOUS!
A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.
A Psalm of David when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him away and he departed.
1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul will make its boast in the Lord; The humble will hear it and rejoice.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
9 O fear the Lord, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want.
10 The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing.
11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may see good?
13 Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit.
14 Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He keeps all his bones, Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Message this morning is GOD GOODNESS IS DELISOUS
Corrie Ten Boom.
Often I have heard people say, "How good God is! We prayed that it would not rain for our church picnic, and look at the lovely weather!'" Yes, God is good when He sends good weather. But God was also good when He allowed my sister, Betsie, to starve to death before my eyes in a German concentration camp. I remember one occasion when I was very discouraged there. Everything around us was dark, and there was darkness in my heart. I remember telling Betsie that I thought God had forgotten us. "No, Corrie," said Betsie, "He has not forgotten us. Remember His Word: 'For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His steadfast love toward those who fear Him.'" Corrie concludes, "There is an ocean of God's love available--there is plenty for everyone. May God grant you never to doubt that victorious love--whatever the circumstances."
I stood to my feet this morning with one agenda and one purpose to remind you that the Lord is GOOD.
I love what Corrie Ten Boom says her. She came to such a strong revelation that came from the testimony of her suffering sister..
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
lets us know that God has and will never forget us.
15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
Corrie concludes, "There is an ocean of God's love available--there is plenty for everyone. May God grant you never to doubt that victorious love--whatever the circumstances."

She says no matter what the circumstance not matter what the event.. no matter how hard the times.
His love is always available for those who would yet but taste and see.

42 The righteous see it and rejoice, And all iniquity stops its mouth.
43 Whoever is wise will observe these things, And they will understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.

Its all GOOD
31 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;
For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;
We must receive his goodness at all time
Even when we feel bad.. look bad.. even when we are bad
He always remains GoOd..
We must taste this and see this.
As long as we are in the land of the living this is the day that the lord has made and we must rejoice and be glad in it..
I see his goodness in the food I eat.
I see his goodness in the trees and in the mountain
I see it in the wheat that grows.
I smell it when it it rains.
Its all good
He is Good. When I feel bad.. when my emotions are going crazy. HE IS GOOD
OH give thanks. Why? He deserves our worship.
Why Cause he is GOOOD…
Yes he is GOOD..
Even a bad day is a good day to praise the lord. Why?
Worship is not based on the feeling that God is good but the truth and reality that God really is good.
Worship is tasting
