Jesus gave Simon the story to explain the actions of the woman, but in the story, we see a third perspective on forgiveness. We not only see the matter of being forgiven by God and forgiving one’s self, but also the matter of forgiving others. As we continue thinking about the power of forgiveness in our life, let’s consider this matter of forgiving others.
