A Child That Saved the Day

Introduction
We took some students on a field trip one day. Students were supposed to bring their lunches. However, one student out of the group failed to bring their lunch. I was willing to share my lunch with the student, but before I was able to do so, other students had taken from their own lunches to supply the student without any lunch with a decent lunch. Those students saved the day for that student.
On this day of Black History month, the purpose of this message today is encourage our kids to know that they have a purpose in this world.
One of the high schools that blacks were not allowed to attend was Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. The local leader of the NAACP was a lady named Daisy Bates. Daisy recruited nine African-American high school students to enroll at Central High.

Emmett Louis Till was a 14-year-old African American who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955, after being accused of offending a white woman in her family's grocery store
Although their lives ended much too early, their young lives served a purpose.
Then, there was a young lad that was traveling with his family in a desert place one evening watching and participating in the actions of a Galilean preacher. Watching this itinerate pastor heal the sick. Watching this master teacher school his disciples and others on who He was!
