The Goal

So we didn't the series of transformation that's called transformation Revival and we In This Very Room step 3 last week. We talked about realizing that we're not God. We listen to We Can't face problems without God not trying to force solutions or come up with them on our own we had to admit to ourselves and I remember guests last week. We had a big Superman symbol you guys remember that and it represented that we're not super bad Batman.

We really need God. We need to have our armor one.

So this week we're going to move on. I remember at the end of last week. I told you guys want you to write down three things. You need to let go off three things you need to start. and then I want you to come up with a plan on how all this week. We're going to continue on a series. I want to talk to you guys about goals. Scripture in Proverbs 29:18 when there is no clear prophetic Vision people clearly wander astray when they follow the revelation of the word Heaven playlist feels your soul. What is actually saying is when you don't have a goal when you don't when you don't see where God wants to take you and you're going to wander and stray from that? The goal was to be a father of many nations. There was David was anointed as King as a boy, but then it was his processes that he had to go through in order to reign as a king. I want to ask you guys this. First of all, what are your goals? Where are you headed? And is God speaking to you while you're going there?

What your goal is a Promised Land. What would happen? What do you lost heart? They didn't believe God. They having a wrong mentality. They took the mentality of being a slave in Egypt and he couldn't function as a free person in the wilderness. And so they would luggage with Egyptian and they lost sight. Let me tell you they didn't have confidence in God anymore. This is scripture that says that says.

Because it's tough what we've been talking a lot about in order to begin to live in feeling in order to grow in order to go for it with. We got our first begin to see it through the lens of his word. Who God is already said when you're spoken to and when we do that we've been open ourselves up for transformation, but it gets uncomfortable and that's what makes us want to shrink back. How many times do you like did you start something that you never finished? Call Jack's, you know, you got this, you know, I've been working on this project at home and for the last three years, or maybe it's about that you were reading and it's like I can never get through some still on chapter 4 and I had this look for over four years. Some people like that's my Bible.

But I don't want to give you this one to tell you this your next letter in goal is a because I want to share this with you. You may say I'm open the transformation, but I'm struggling. I'm having a rough time. Did you go see gives you the ability and Authority for transformation? He gives you the ability and the Authority for transformation. He gives you the ability to live this life out. My Bible tells me he's giving you all things to live out this life in Christ Jesus. sounding Peter What is this look like? That is to those who believe that a cure to trust and rely on its name. You made that old like it's like an old 80s rap song. I don't know. Wow, I thought I was just only weird. I want to tell you this God has given you power. That word in the original Greek is exusia exousia Authority. It means ability and means the right like your driver license gives you the authority to drive a car. It's it legally gives you that Authority. God has legally given you the authority and ability to live transformed.

Do you believe it?

Do you believe God has granted you that? Do you believe that you you actually because God says he gives you the right to become children of God. Sometimes the reason why we don't live in it because we don't know what we got. I told you if you had $1000000 in the bank and you never knew it, would you ever use it?

is you got born again? And God is giving you his spirit inside of you and it tells me in Scripture that the fullness of the godhead resides in you. Are you living in that fullness? Or do you really know what you have?

And as you begin to begin to realize that I'm open to transformation and God is already equipped me to live transform. I want to tell you you got to look you got to imagine you got to expect. Your next one for elk. Look imagine and expect how do we look for as we look through the lens of the word? Cuz we need our faith too attached to something. How do you imagine? Do you know the Bible says? Meditate I know a lot of a lot of other religions they have worked with meditation looks like but in Christianity attached to a Christian thing to do is called to meditate on your word. The Bible says I meditate on your word day and night I hid in my heart that I may not sin against you. Are you meditating on God's word and how an easy way to do it? It's the kind of imagine what it would look like if you would live in it. You got to imagine it here. You got to be good to see you got to activate your your Sanctified imagination because when you activate your imagination according to God's word that's beginning of you dwelling into the scriptures. Not just reading it. Like I started thinking about that that verse the fullness of the godhead lives in me.

I got God in here. I got hung their son and holy spirit all in here. Oh my goodness. That's mind-blowing. Do you know what I can do?

I wonder if I can do with Jesus dead. I wonder if I can walk like him and live like him and love like him. I wonder if my character can be refined just like she is I wonder if scriptures really Truth where it says that he is the express image of the invisible God anyone has seen the son. They seen the father. So that means for me is when people meet me there getting their getting a look at Jesus because I am in His image. Do you believe that in the phone? This lives here father Son and Holy Spirit the full counsel of God, not just a piece or abortion. You have all of God inside of you. Are you open to all of God using you?

Are you open to all of God speaking to you?

As you begin to to imagine it. Imagine what it would look like. I want you to begin to have some type of expectation begin to receive. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. You know, what? Hope actually means. Miss confidence we have this hope salvation. It's a confidence. So hate is the substance where confidence is that? What is you don't have a good vase for your confidence the restaurant if you don't have a good platform for your confidence to be rooted and grounded in there's no way for you to be like a tree planted by the river.

Where are you getting your resource in nutrition strong? Where are you getting that from? Are you getting it from the word of God? Are you getting getting it? From what you think are you getting it from the move of the spirit of God, or are you getting it from what culture is saying? Are you getting it from what you know God is so did you are you get there from your past traditions? What are you building your life on? Where are your goals at? What is God drawing you to?

I like Philippians 1:6 says Falls right into the Philippians church, and he says this and I'm convinced and sure of this very thing that you've begun a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ right up to the time of his return the zealot mean the good work and respecting and bringing it to full completion and you who was real worried about are we really going to get the heaven soon as may be worried? What kind of not really doing everything right? Can I tell you can I tell you something? It's your job to say yes in his job to work on you.

It's his job to begin to perfect you. It's your job to say I'm open to being perfected. God never lost sight of what he sees in you and each and every one of us you never lost sight of that. He doesn't lose sight of who you are. He doesn't lose sight of your identity. No matter how bad you are or how good you are. He still sees you the same exact way and if you're born again, he sees you through the blood of Jesus. He sees you as redeem. He sees you as righteous and let me tell you may be struggling in the season, but I am convinced. But that work that Jesus started within you that he's going to bring it to completion. You may be down for a moment, but you're not knocked out.

Sometimes in life we make go through valleys and we may feel like we're down what's going on God what's happening why we may ask why why why?

Summit was made even go as far as saying God you're not as good as you said you are.

I want to tell you just because you're down for a moment. God's not done with you yet. God still has a plan for you. Still has a confident thing that he sees in you that he wants to perfect and bring out. God still sees the goal and intention of why he created you with purpose.

He knows you're not Superman. So I gave your back case.

I think everyone knows my favorite superhero now, huh?

He's not expecting you to do this in your strength. He's expecting you to say I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me who said it again. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That means I can go through every circumstance every trial every fiery Dart. Through Christ who strengthens me? Have you received that strength today? As you receive strength from God in the inside.

Could we just solve our heads right now?

Close your eyes. Is you say I haven't received that strength? I don't know what that's like, I don't even understand it fully if that's you could just put your hand in your way. Every eyes closed and every head is loud. You said you know, I need that stress. I need God's strength to work at me. I've done a lot on my own I tried hard and it seems the more I try the worse it gets.

And reveal truth to them because the word says that you will guide them into all truth to guide them into the truth of the very moment the moment and guide them into the truth of who they are and you and guide them into the truth of what your word says about you Papa. That they would know the depth in love with Christ and the day when they would be able to innocence comprehend the with the height and the depth of it. But you lied to me completely consumed by your love in Jesus. Mighty name. Amen.

So for you guys, I want you guys to go home. I want you guys to think about this. I want you guys to write down your goals. I want you to ask. What is your goal for me? And then ask him another question. How do I get there?
