Therefore God delivered them over in the desires of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves.
For God’s WRATH is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness…
Because God has revealed (Pt. 1: 1.18-23)…
TRUTH (suppress) → HIS ATTRIBUTES (excuses) → HIS GLORY (replacement)
(replacement)
…Today, we further our focus from the reasons for God’s wrath to the results of His wrath...
Therefore God DELIVERED THEM OVER (1.24-32)
God handed (gave, delivered) over [active, indicative] them! He established the consequences! God directly established the absolute moral standards of the world he created.
This three-point outline is much like the reasons…more amplification than individual/separate reasons.
To HEARTS OF FALSE WORSHIP (1.24-25)
(1.24-25)
There were indeed false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves.
They have eyes full of adultery that never stop looking for sin. They seduce unstable people and have hearts trained in greed. Children under a curse!

Many will follow their depraved ways, and the way of truth will be maligned because of them.
To UNNATURAL PASSIONS (1.26-27)
(1.26-27)
QUESTION: What is quite often a telling characteristic of the lives of people the Scriptures characterize as false teachers? [most obvious = teaching what the Bible does not; second most = sexual immorality ()]
To UNNATURAL PASSIONS (1.26-27)
In these verses the depravity is further illustrated…clearly describing homosexuality as an expression of godlessness and unrighteousness.
You are not to sleep with a man as with a woman; it is detestable.
Levi
Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males,
To REPROBATE MINDS (1.28-31)
To a corrupt (depraved, worthless, bad, unapproved, REPROBATE: morally corrupt...rejected as worthless or not standing a test <condemned>)
(1.28-31)
The very definition of a worthless, godless, unrighteous mind focuses on (is given over to, walks about in; list of 17 vices)...
envy
murder
quarrels
deceit
malice
gossip
slander
God-hating
arrogance
pride
boasting
inventing evil
disobedient to parents
senseless
untrustworthy
unloving
unmerciful
Regarding v. 32...
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And when the blood of your witness Stephen was being shed, I stood there giving approval and guarding the clothes of those who killed him.’
[in ref. to ]
…instead...
Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians
Although they know God’s just sentence—that those who practice such things deserve to die—they not only do them, but even applaud others who practice them.
