The Righteous Are As Bold As Lions

Courage In Numbers
Daniel 3:16–18 NASB95
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. “But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”
Daniel 6:10 NASB95
Now when Daniel knew that the document was signed, he entered his house (now in his roof chamber he had windows open toward Jerusalem); and he continued kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying and giving thanks before his God, as he had been doing previously.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
Winston Churchill
Courage. What makes a King out of a slave? Courage.
What makes the flag on the mast to wave? Courage.
What makes the elephant charge his tusk in the misty mist or the dusky dusk?
What makes the muskrat guard his musk? Courage.
What makes the Sphinx the 7th Wonder? Courage.
What makes the dawn come up like THUNDER?! Courage.
What makes the Hottentot so hot?
What puts the "ape" in ape-ricot?
Whatta they got that I ain't got?
In the movie Ford vs. Ferrari there is a point where Ken Miles the driver of the Ford GT40 where Ken Miles has to show a lot of courage while racing in the 24 hour Le Mans. To understand the moment you have to understand what had happened before. after they put in the new engine it was so powerful they had trouble stopping it. the brakes would get overheated and at one point Ken crashed because the brakes went out caught on fire and the whole car went up in flames. As Ken is racing in the Le Mans against the notorious Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini, his breaks go out and he crashes but is not fatal to the car. He pits and gets new brakes on and as he gets back on the track he is not as sure and confident in the car and the brakes and everyone is wondering what is wrong. To the that the mechanic said he is not not comfortable with the car yet. Its at that point where even Ken is asking himself what he is doing? Why I am I here? Let’s go! He puts the petal to the metal and he is off.
