Luke
Luke 6:37–38 NKJV
37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Luke 6:41–42 NKJV
41 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? 42 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

In September 2019, Bekah and I went to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, New York. The service was memorable and life-changing for me. Since then, I have listened to the messages of the pastor, Jim Cymbala.
In the message you will soon watch, he discusses being on the same page with God. As I watched it, I thought of David’s life. Up to this point, he was near to God.
However, in our study, David is at a crossroads. He makes a mistake that sets the course for the remainder of his life. This message, though taken from the New Testament, provides an outline for the remainder of David’s life.
Whenever he got of page with God, problems became inevitable. I listened to this message during our fast and it spoke to me. I hope it will speak to you today as well.
Some questions to ask:

Judgement

Am I judgmental or do I pray for people that they will come to know Christ?
Does God judge me?

Forgiveness

Am I forgiving or do I hold grudges?
How often does God forgive me?

Generosity

Does my life denote generosity?
How is God generous to me?
