Calling/purpose.
How do you discover your calling in life?
How do you discover you purpose?
Your purpose/calling is determined by His Promise over you life.
God gives Abraham a promise that you will be the father of all nations.
He renames Abram to Abraham.
His purpose was the be the father of faith because he was the father of all nations.
David established a way for God’s house to be built.
The promise you will be a place where I Father live.
The purpose is to be a worshiper of God.
Davids identity is one who has the heart of God.
Even the way that David concurred the enemies was to make way for the house of God to preside.
28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matt 11:
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
39 “For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
17 Only, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this manner let him walk. And so I direct in all the churches.
16 As He was going along by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” 18 Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. 19 Going on a little farther, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets. 20 Immediately He called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and went away to follow Him.
30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
