The SOURCE of the Message

This makes it a SPIRITUAL Message

Because it is spiritual in nature, it is conflict to our fleshly natures and expectations.
Because it is spiritual in nature, it isn’t limited demographically or culturally.
Because it is spiritual in nature, it exists outside of the limits that man lives within.

This makes it a POWERFUL Message

Romans 1:16 NASB95
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
The Gospel message breaks down walls.
The Gospel message changes realities.
The Gospel message is the conduit of Salvation.

The THRUST of the Message

GOSPEL

The Good News has come.
Jesus was born to die, die to live, ascend to prepare a place, and descend to gather His children home!

RELEASE

The word literally means “Pardon”
To release from the consequences of the action.
It doesn’t change the past, it forgives it and changes the future.

RECOVERY

You can be made whole again.
The brokenness of sin can be redeemed and a new start is available.
The spiritual blindness that condemns one apart from the Gospel message can be healed and the eyes of your heart can be opened to see the glorious Hand of God at work around you.

FREEDOM

The concept of freedom is not nearly as precious to those who have not lived through bondage.
Luke 7:47 NASB95
“For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.”

The TIMING of the Message

TODAY

Not tomorrow, Not some more convenient time, Not when I feel ready, Not when I finish “sowing my wild oats”.
TODAY is the day that he said the Scripture has been fulfilled.
TODAY, you know the truth!
TODAY, you are accountable to God for your response.
2 Corinthians 6:1–2 NASB95
And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain— for He says, At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—
