Money Matters
Money Matters
Phil 4:19
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Phil 4:6
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

matt 6:24-25
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Its up to me. Take responsibility for your money. Don’t plan on an inheritance, corporation, or government to bail you out.
God’s and Grandma’s way of handling money works. Spend less and invest more
Winning at money is 80 percent behavior and 20 percent head knowledge
It doesn’t matter what you know, you can have a fitness and nutrition degree but if I do not eat less, eat right, and exercise more then I will not get fit. Simple math= I eat more calories than I burn I gain weight.
Reason #1: Until you take responsibility for your money situation, you aren’t going to do anything to CHANGE because you don’t think you CAN do anything. You’ll wait for the “other party” to take responsibility, or you’ll wait for your luck, stockbroker, or personality to change!
Reason #2: The way you ALLOWED another person or entity to impact your financial situation very often gives good clues about what you need to “undo” as you seek to become financially fit.
Change always has an element of sacrifice to it. It always has an element of self-denial. Any change that truly results in growth or improvement has an element of pain associated with it.

If you plant nothing you don’t get nothing, you get weeds. If you dont tell your money where to go you’ll say where did it go?
Los ricos son los amos de los pobres;
los deudores son esclavos de sus acreedores.
The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender.
El hombre de bien deja herencia a sus nietos;
Prov 13:22
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous.
It is human nature to want it and want it now; it is also a sign of immaturity. Being willing to delay pleasure for a greater result is also a sign of maturity.
Thus says the Lord,
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you to profit,
who leads you in the way you should go.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
The purpose of money is to be able care for those you love and to be able to do anything God calls you to do.
Prepara primero tus faenas de cultivo
y ten listos tus campos para la siembra;
después de eso, construye tu casa.
Prepare your work outside;
get everything ready for yourself in the field,
and after that build your house.
LUke 14:28-30
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’
Los planes bien pensados: ¡pura ganancia!
Los planes apresurados: ¡puro fracaso!
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance,
but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
prov 8:
for wisdom is better than jewels,
and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.
“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
and I find knowledge and discretion.
Conmigo están las riquezas y la honra,
la prosperidad y los bienes duraderos.
Riches and honor are with me,
enduring wealth and righteousness.
prov 8:18
