This Joy that I have

Jesus is saying here, there is a reason for this sermon. I’m not just wasting my breath here, but I say this so that your joy maybe full.

What things does he say?

Fruits of joy.

My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

The same joy in Jesus He, by His grace has placed on the inside of the ones He loves.

So that we could be complete in whatever situation and whatever circumstance.

When I face life situation and circumstances, I must remind to abide in the one, the only one who can bring me real joy.

Jesus is our Joy and in His presence there is fullness of Joy.

I am not just in His presence, I am in Him, and He is in me. He is the perfecter and completer of my joy.

I remember often

. That He (Jesus) came that we might have life and life more abundantly.

We as Christians hold the very key to unlimited happiness and because of this great opportunity we must learn to contend for what is ours, joy!

And this joy comes from abiding in His.

Lets look at

1 Peter 1:7 NASB95

7 so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Because often time we allow thing in the world to still our joy

When you are in Christ nothing and no one can steal your joy

Trail of our faith…

Now I had a beautiful wedding… we had a wonderful Honeymoon.. we drove all over western USA.

We ate by the beach… we went dolphin chasing.. we hiked a mountain, kinda..

We drove up and down mountain.. we walk Zions trails and stood and Bryce’s canyon…

And I thought how creative is our God.. how expressive He is towards..

We were told this was formed by billions of years of erosion and volcano eruption but someone had to form that water and that volcano.

God is speaking through creation… DON’T IGNORE ME…

This is more complex than evolution.. there is a designer and He is intelligent and specific and it gives me Joy because I know Him

And if I am in Him now.. I was in Him then ….

Ephesians 1:4 NASB95

that give me Joy because.. He was creating all of this with me on His mind.. I was not an accident or a back up plan…

I was elected and His desire is for me to be in Him..

Jesus says in

Jesus isn’t stuck with me.. Im not his little brat brother that our parents make take everywhere with Him.. NO NO He wants me and that Give me Joy

Oh I feel It now.. Jesus says I want your joy to be full…

Running over! No lack!

He tells Abraham Look at them stars, try to count them things.. man, that what Im doing to do to your descendants.

Look at the sands… same things…

That give Me joy… he speaks to me personally through His own creation.

So when ever life come and tribulation arise. I have to make up in my mind that Im not going to let anything come and steal my joy…

Cuz nothing can steal my joy if I remain in him..

when we were returning from our honeymoon trying to get home.. 2 hour lay over in Denver… flying home could land in okc.. did circle around Wichita falls.. then landed in Tulsa and stayed in the airport for 6 hours no food….

I almost got out of him and let the devil steal the joy that he has no power to take away…

But I had to remember the same God that took me on top of the mountain.. the same God who brought to Zion park.. the same God who took me to Bryce canyon and made beautiful things to behold

Is the same God that was in the airport and plane with me..

And that give me joy…

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

These things I have showed you… I took you on top of the mountain so that when you come down.. youll remember the victory and have energy in the fight.

What Paul say in Philippians?

13 different times in Philippians Paul is spilling out joy and urging the church to rejoice!

But he’s in prison. He’s living under the threat of death but he is in Christ

Meaning he has JOY

This reminds me of a song we would sing when I was a little boy by Shirley Cesar, that says:
