ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER Genesis 37:3 NASB[3] Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his sons, because he was the son of his old age; and he made him a varicolored tunic. Genesis 37:4-8 NASB[4] His brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers; and so they hated him and could not speak to him on friendly terms. [5] Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him even more. [6] He said to them, "Please listen to this dream which I have had; [7] for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf rose up and also stood erect; and behold, your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to my sheaf." [8] Then his brothers said to him, "Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?" So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. Genesis 37:9 NASB[9] Now he had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, "Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me." JOSEPH WAS LEFT BEHIND BUT ISRAEL SENT HIM TO BRING WORD Genesis 37:14 NASB[14] Then he said to him, "Go now and see about the welfare of your brothers and the welfare of the flock, and bring word back to me." So he sent him from the valley of Hebron, and he came to Shechem. JOSEPH WAS WANDERING FOUND BY A MAN 37:15-THEY HAD MOVED DOTHAN WHEN THEY SAW HIM COMING THEY PLOTTED HOW THEY WOULD KILL HIM REUBEN SAID SHED NO BLOOD- Genesis 37:23-24 NASB[23] So it came about, when Joseph reached his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the varicolored tunic that was on him; [24] and they took him and threw him into the pit. Now the pit was empty, without any water in it. (THE ENEMY MUST DESTROY YOUR IDENITITY BEFORE HE CAN DESTROY YOU) Genesis 37:27 NASB[27] Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay our hands on him, for he is our brother, our own flesh." And his brothers listened to him. THEY TOOK HIM OUT-SOLD HIM , RUEBEN WAS NOT PRESENT - Genesis 37:36 NASB[36] Meanwhile, the Midianites sold him in Egypt to Potiphar, Pharaoh's officer, the captain of the bodyguard. Genesis 38:1-30 Joseph appears to be gone for good-we see Reuben, Simeon, and levi-OUT OF FAVOR FOR INCEST AND TREACHERY Genesis 39:2 NASB[2] The LORD was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Genesis 39:6 NASB[6] So he left everything he owned in Joseph's charge; and with him there he did not concern himself with anything except the food which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance. Genesis 39:9 NASB[9] There is no one greater in this house than I, and he has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do this great evil and sin against God?" Genesis 39:10-12 NASB[10] As she spoke to Joseph day after day, he did not listen to her to lie beside her or be with her. [11] Now it happened one day that he went into the house to do his work, and none of the men of the household was there inside. [12] She caught him by his garment, saying, "Lie with me!" And he left his garment in her hand and fled, and went outside. JUST LIE BESIDE ME-ONE THING LEADS TO ANOTHER IF THE ENEMY CAN CHANGE YOUR IDENTITY-TAKE THE COAT OFF Genesis 39:20-23 NASB[20] So Joseph's master took him and put him into the jail, the place where the king's prisoners were confined; and he was there in the jail. [21] But the LORD was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer. [22] The chief jailer committed to Joseph's charge all the prisoners who were in the jail; so that whatever was done there, he was responsible for it. [23] The chief jailer did not supervise anything under Joseph's charge because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made to prosper. Genesis 40:2 NASB[2] Pharaoh was furious with his two officials, the chief cupbearer and the chief baker. Genesis 40:5 NASB[5] Then the cupbearer and the baker for the king of Egypt, who were confined in jail, both had a dream the same night, each man with his own dream and each dream with its own interpretation. Genesis 40:14-15 NASB[14] Only keep me in mind when it goes well with you, and please do me a kindness by mentioning me to Pharaoh and get me out of this house. [15] For I was in fact kidnapped from the land of the Hebrews, and even here I have done nothing that they should have put me into the dungeon." Genesis 40:23 NASB[23] Yet the chief cupbearer did not remember Joseph, but forgot him. Genesis 41:1 NASB[1] Now it happened at the end of two full years that Pharaoh had a dream, and behold, he was standing by the Nile. Genesis 42:3-4 NASB[3] Then ten brothers of Joseph went down to buy grain from Egypt. [4] But Jacob did not send Joseph's brother Benjamin with his brothers, for he said, "I am afraid that harm may befall him." THIS WAS JUDAH-RUEBEN LOST HIS FIRST BORN BLESSING-JUDAH REPLACED Genesis 44:20 NASB[20] We said to my lord, 'We have an old father and a little child of his old age. Now his brother is dead, so he alone is left of his mother, and his father loves him.' Genesis 45:1-15 NASB[1] Then Joseph could not control himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried, "Have everyone go out from me." So there was no man with him when Joseph made himself known to his brothers. [2] He wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard of it. [3] Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?" But his brothers could not answer him, for they were dismayed at his presence. [4] Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Please come closer to me." And they came closer. And he said, "I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. [5] Now do not be grieved or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. [6] For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. [7] God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant in the earth, and to keep you alive by a great deliverance. [8] Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt. [9] Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, 'Thus says your son Joseph, "God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not delay. [10] You shall live in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near me, you and your children and your children's children and your flocks and your herds and all that you have. [11] There I will also provide for you, for there are still five years of famine to come, and you and your household and all that you have would be impoverished."' [12] Behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see, that it is my mouth which is speaking to you. [13] Now you must tell my father of all my splendor in Egypt, and all that you have seen; and you must hurry and bring my father down here." [14] Then he fell on his brother Benjamin's neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck. [15] He kissed all his brothers and wept on them, and afterward his brothers talked with him. IT WAS GOD , SAVING THE 12 TRIBES-FROM WHICH FAMINE WOULD HAVE DESTROYED Luke 17:14-19 NASB[14] When He saw them, He said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." And as they were going, they were cleansed. [15] Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, [16] and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan. [17] Then Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine-where are they? [18] Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?" [19] And He said to him, "Stand up and go; your faith has made you well." 10 -1 returned Made you well Sozo Greek  Means to be made whole-Healed- Also in Strongs  Messianic deliverance  110 times  93 times -translated  Saved or save Let’s look at a famous verse Romans 10:12-13 NASB [12] For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; [13] for "Whoever WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
