When we measure with the wrong ruler, we come out with the wrong results. In today's passage, we see Jesus teaching that's true in the spiritual realm as well. Through a short parable and a real-world encounter that Jesus' disciples face, we learn how dangerous it can be to measure our righteousness and the Lord's value for other individuals by using the wrong rulers.
