God’s Call – Jonah’s Disobedience – Jonah 1:1-3

 

GOD OBSERVES THE WICKEDNESS OF A GREAT CITY – V.2

            “Their wickedness has come up before me”

·         At what point does God decide that He has put up with the wickedness of any nation long enough? 

 

JONAH DISOBEYS GOD’S CALL – V.3

    “But Jonah rose up to flee to Tarshish

·         1:3  “down to Joppa”

·         1:5  “J. had gone below into the hold of the ship”

·         2:6  “I descended…” .

·         What should you do if you are entangled in some                              life dominating sin?       James 1:13-15…

·         Is it possible that we would act the same way                                             in a similar situation?
