Introduction
As we begin our message, we must be reminded that Paul is exhorting Timothy to continue in what he has learned and what he as firmly believed since childhood. The sacred writings possess supernatural ability.

The power of Scripture - Make you wise unto salvation! Here we think of and the power of Scripture. The Holy Spirit opens the mind and enables the will to embrace Christ.
The purpose of Scripture - Faith in Jesus Christ! Scripture leads to salvation only as they point to Christ. , ; )
The pinnacle of Scripture - CHRIST! Christ is the pinnacle of Scripture but the Bible is not limited only to Christ. The Bible instructs and informs us how to live for Christ and grow as believers in our salvation.

The Scriptures owe their origin and distinctiveness to God himself. In essence God’s character is breathed into Scripture in that they reflect His character and nature. Teaching - Scripture is a source of Christian doctrine. (In the Pastorals, cf. ; , , , ; ; , ; , ; ; ; , ; . In the remainder of the New Testament, cf. ; ; ; ; ; .) Because of the prominence of heresy among his readers, Paul emphasized the importance of sound teaching.
Rebuke - It means exposes error and confronts our failures - it clarifies our mistakes - and it leads us into peace.
Correction - It convicts us of sin and disobedience and restores them to the right paths.

Conclusion - The man of God or the true Christian leader. Equipped has to do with being fit or rightly conditioned - fit shape. This is why we must nurture his spiritual life in the Scriptures. There is nothing more important. Two things to help Christians in our pilgrimage for strength: biography or Bible.
