Is desire itself a bad thing?
• Desires themselves are not bad things
Desires themselves are not bad things
Created with desire - ordered desires - that enable us to have healthy relationships, healthy work, healthy worship
& 2
Sin uses our desires to separate us from God
Sin uses our desires to separate us from God
Sin uses our Desires to separate us from God
Desire is not the issues; it is the disordering of desires; when desires become warped from their original design
Oppositional
Oppositional
Sin openly opposes God
But it doesn’t always look like it

the larger context shows differently

Recognition

We are better prepared when we are able to put all teaching into context
