Bursting Forth Past Your Problem

My wife and I have served in ministry for quite a while. We have experienced quite a bit. Working in youth ministry can be quite difficult. It seems like it can be a roller coaster at times. It is like anyone, but sometimes it is hard for them to see that.

There was this one time a few years ago that the Lord had touch the youth and the were on fire for God. They were excited to worship and learn, but after a few months went by and it seemed as if the fire started to dwindle out.

As a pastor, you start asking what is going on? In my mind I started think like students, maybe they wanted games , maybe a different way of music, maybe prizes. Think out side of the.

My wife and I started talking and praying for the LORDS direction. As our Wednesday service came around: I was ready to speak, play games, and do worship like our normal service.

At one point though my wife, looked at me and felt led like we needed to pray. My reaction was that wasnt what was planned at first. as music was playing she stated that someone was battling depression.

2 students state that they were battling deep depression, to the point of suicide. They had not communicated to parents or anyone. THe gospel and the hope of Jesus was shared with this girls. and How much the Lord cares about them.

Students swarmed the girls, the holy spirit was in the place. Forgiveness and a touch of Jesus occured. As students were praying, the scars on their arms began t6o disappear.

THE LORD REVEALED HIMSELF THAT NIGHT. HE BURST FORTH PAST THEIR DEEP DEPRESSION.

Today I am believing that you will see that Jesus is your hope and that He cares about what you are going through
