Thy Word Is Truth: Logos
16 Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness.
17 Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.
III. Paul affirms that all scripture is inspired by God. The Word inspired (GK. the-pneus-tos) comes from two greek words theos, meaning ‘God” and pneo, meaning to breathe. Thus inspired means God breathed; it is the very life and Word of God.
The bible is without error, absolutely true, trustworthy and infallible. This is true not only when it speaks to salvation, ethical values, and morality, but it is also without error on all the subjects which it speaks, including history and the cosmos.
20 You must understand this at the outset: Interpretation of scriptural prophecy requires the Holy Spirit, for it does not originate from someone’s own imagination.
21 No true prophecy comes from human initiative but is inspired by the moving of the Holy Spirit upon those who spoke the message that came from God.

9 How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word.

One cannot submit to the Lordship Of Jesus Christ without submitting to God and his Word as ultimate and final authority.
The Holy Scriptures can only be understood when we are in a right relation to the Holy Spirit. It is he who opens our minds to understand the meaning and gives us the inward witness of its authority.
12 For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us.
We must use the inspired Word Of God to conquer the power of Sin, Satan, and the World in our Lives.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
17 Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.
21 So this is why we abandon everything morally impure and all forms of wicked conduct. Instead, with a sensitive spirit we absorb God’s Word, which has been implanted within our nature, for the Word of Life has power to continually deliver us.

Scripture Must be loved, treasured, and guarded by all those of the Church who see it as God’s only truth for a lost and dying world.

Adam’s sin (Gen. 3:1–6) consisted in his yielding to the assaults of temptation and eating the forbidden fruit. It involved in it, (1) the sin of unbelief, virtually making God a liar; and (2) the guilt of disobedience to a positive command. By this sin he became an apostate from God, a rebel in arms against his Creator. He lost the favour of God and communion with him; his whole nature became depraved, and he incurred the penalty involved in the covenant of works.
17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.

The Lord, Jesus, The Holy Spirt has the power to save us and keep us from the World with sanctification…
The moral world overlaps with the human world because many people are hostile toward God and therefore the Scriptures use the term “world” to describe that environment or spirit of evil and of enmity toward God and the things of God. Particularly, in the Gospel of John, “world” takes on this sinister meaning. The world was not originally evil, yet “the whole world,” since the fall, has come “under the sway of the evil one”
