The van ministry is a Ministry

if you look at the title of this slide it’s title “Van Ministry.”

this is a ministry for people who could not get to church any other way.

the van ministry is not a shuttle service or a taxi service it is a service that brings people to worship.

I know that other churches take people to the store ( like bar Church) or by restaurants. BUT WE DON’T.

We don’t want people coming to church on the Rock-Abilene just because they are going to get to the store or McDonald's after Church.

When we pick people up their experience with Church on the Rock-Abilene begins.

so we would like to get all attenders to the service 15 minutes before Church begins.

this would be so that they can go to the restroom and get a seat before the announcements start.

we want all the people that we can get involved with the outreaches and ministries that we do.

we want to get people here on time.

we want the conversation to be uplifting.

we don’t want people running the van behind (parishioners) this is why we have a letter.

we have to then be able fallow through on what we call the rules. the driver is the person that will enforce the rules.

we need to know whats going on before there is a huge violation.

we need you to communicate with us attitudes and problems riders.

We are going back to the phone for the central communication

we are going back too a central phone ( like a trac phone)

people will have to leave their phone message on the van phone so that people will be able to make the list form that.
