WHO REALLY RULES THE WORLD!
General Observations
God doesn’t provide Daniel or Nebuchadnezzar with a designated time frame for when the events in the dream will take place
Omniscience of God - Meaning that God knows all past present & future events equally without discrimination
The Sovereignty of God – God is free to do as he wills, how he wills, when he wills to whom every he wills. God is never subject to anyone or anything at any time, thus he is all powerful or omnipotent!
While this dream doesn’t explain in fully God’s omniscience it does show us that human history is laid open to God as the creator and sustainer of all life, thus whether the direct or indirect cause of all human and non-human events Gods knowledge is inexhaustible and absolute. The question is does he know because HE ordains or appoints things to be so, or does he know because he sees the future?
Colossians 1:16 ESV
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Ephesians 1:11 ESV
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

Psalm 139:1–4 ESV
O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.
Psalms 139
Psalm 139:15–16 ESV
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Psalms 139:
Isaiah 46:9–10 ESV
remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’
Isa 46:9-10
Vision of the Statue
· Each kingdom is inferior to the next in some way, most likely in a moral or spiritual since
· The metals decrease in value but increase in strength with the exception of the feet
· The whole statue remains in tack until it is destroyed
· The dust from the statue is blown away so that there is nothing left
· God establish a Kingdom near the end of the last of the human kingdoms or empires
Kingdom Realities
· This Kingdom is of divine Origin
· This Kingdom is Eternal
· This Kingdom destroys all earthly kingdoms, demonstrating sovereign power over the Kingdoms of man
· This Kingdom will cover the whole earth
Habakkuk 2:14 ESV
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Hab 2:14

Spiritual Truths
Biblical Prophesy has a span of time that is calculable and incalculable by humans
This gives us an already but not yet principle
In the mind of God this truth is certain, even though all the events had not yet transpired
How should this impact and influence God’s children?
