John I AM Statements

(John 6:35 NNAS)  Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.

(John 8:12 NNAS)  Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

(John 9:5 NNAS)  "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world."

(John 10:7 NNAS)  So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

(John 10:9 NNAS)  "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

(John 10:11 NNAS)  "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

(John 10:14 NNAS)  "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me,

(John 11:25 NNAS)  Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,

(John 14:6 NNAS)  Jesus said^ to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

(John 15:1 NNAS)  "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

(John 15:5 NNAS)  "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

(John 8:58 NNAS)  Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."

(Exo 3:13-14 NNAS)  Then Moses said to God, "Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you.' Now they may say to me, 'What is His name?' What shall I say to them?" {14} God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"

! Bearing Fruit

Parting Words:

4      Parent to kindergartner

4      Parent to home alone teen

4      Parent to child going to college

4      Father to daughter getting married

4      Husband to wife who is going away for several days

(John 15:1-8 NNAS)  "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. {2} "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. {3} "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

{4} "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. {5} "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. {6} "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. {7} "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. {8} "My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

(Psa 80:8 NNAS)  You removed a vine from Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it.

(Jer 2:21 NNAS)  "Yet I planted you a choice vine, A completely faithful seed. How then have you turned yourself before Me Into the degenerate shoots of a foreign vine?

(Ezek 15 NNAS)  Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, {2} "Son of man, how is the wood of the vine better than any wood of a branch which is among the trees of the forest? {3} "Can wood be taken from it to make anything, or can men take a peg from it on which to hang any vessel? {4} "If it has been put into the fire for fuel, and the fire has consumed both of its ends and its middle part has been charred, is it then useful for anything? {5} "Behold, while it is intact, it is not made into anything. How much less, when the fire has consumed it and it is charred, can it still be made into anything!

{6} "Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, 'As the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem; {7} and I set My face against them. Though they have come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I set My face against them. {8} 'Thus I will make the land desolate, because they have acted unfaithfully,' " declares the Lord GOD.

(Hosea 10:1-2 NNAS)  Israel is a luxuriant vine; He produces fruit for himself. The more his fruit, The more altars he made; The richer his land, The better he made the sacred pillars. {2} Their heart is faithless; Now they must bear their guilt. The LORD will break down their altars And destroy their sacred pillars.

What does being fruitful mean?

(Gal 5:22-23 NNAS)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

(John 4:34-38 NNAS)  Jesus said^ to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work. {35} "Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest. {36} "Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. {37} "For in this case the saying is true, 'One sows and another reaps.' {38} "I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."
