With Lawlessness (2 Cor 6:14)

A righteous person cannot be in cooperation with a lawless person and still be righteous!
Fellowship - μετοχή, ῆς f: a relationship involving shared purposes and activity—‘partnership, sharing.’ (Louw, J. P., & Nida).
Louw, J. P., & Nida

what participation is there between righteousness and lawlessness?

Righteousness and lawlessness have different purposes!
The purpose of righteousness is to do what is right in the sight of God.
The purpose of lawlessness is to avoid doing what is right.
The two are apposed to one another. So, the only way to have participation between them is for one to stop being what they were and start being what the other is.

With Belial (:15)

Belial (the Gr. Beliar is a spelling variation) transliterates an Old Testament word that means “worthless person.” In Greek it came to mean “a lawless person.” It was then used of Satan, the most worthless and lawless of all.

Louw, J. P., & Nida
Christ and Belial have opposing purposes!
Christ desires to bring together (; , 13).
Belial desires to divide and concur! ().

With Unbelievers ()

What part - what sharing participation?
Believers and unbelievers have different goals!
The goal of a believer is to live and teach the things of Christ.
The goal of unbelievers is to live according to their own will.
Jeremiah 10:23 NKJV
O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.
Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

With Idols (2 Cor. 6:16)

Agreement - consent.
The Temple of God and the temple of idols have different masters.
Christians are the Temple of God! God dwells in them.
The master of the temple of idols is whatever the individual wants it to be.
