Go with me to the Gospel of After these things Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. Then a great multitude followed Him, because they saw His signs which He performed on those who were diseased. And Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near. Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples[a] to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” 13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. 14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”

Lets Pray: God, open our eyes that we can see what you want us to see. Help us to focus on Your ability instead of our inability.Help us to see into the invisible realm of faith. Help us to believe you with our impossible situations. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord.

Doesn’t that seem to be a little bit rude? 20,000 people looking for you to meet their needs...and you run and hide up the mountain side…so they can’t get to you. I wonder how many people miss their miracle because they get offended when God doesn’t do things in their way/timing.

The Third Dynamic that we see is that Jesus gave His disciples the challenge of finding bread to feed 20,000 people. Where can we find bread, that these may eat? YOUR LIFE IS THE LUNCH -- GOD WANTS TO USE TO BLESS OTHERS… AND BRING GLORY TO GOD.

In our text, there are several dynamics going on.

God isn’t looking for your ability/ God is looking for your availability.

You are like the Barley loaves – There is nothing great about Who/What you are. The greatness is found in what Jesus is able to do with your life…when you give it to Him.

The First Dynamic that we see in the Text is the fact that Jesus and His disciples were
physically tired from the demands of ministry.

What you give God to use in your life is God’s answer to someone else’s need. [somebody’s need is waiting on your obedience to God]

Hidden in your sacrifice to God – is something God can use to bless needs and solve problems in other people’s lives.

Ministry to others can take a lot out of you. If you aren’t careful, you can go through

God will not multiply the potential of your life until He breaks you. God will not multiply our stubbornness. God will only multiply that which He can Bless/ and that which is yielded to His touch.

WELCOME TO THE ECONOMY OF GOD.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE GOD…FOR HIM TO USE?

Have you ever felt like…Jesus was hiding from your situation?

Start by giving God your life.

Have you ever had someone hide from you because they didn’t want to be bothered
with you? That’s irritating. Tell the truth. Have you ever avoided someone because
you didn’t want to be bothered by their problem?
The Third Dynamic that we see is that Jesus gave His disciples the challenge of

finding bread to feed 20,000 people. Where can we find bread, that these may eat?

Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the EarthAnd all these blessings shall overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways

You might argue why is it our responsibility to feed people who can feed themselves?
It’s their own fault they didn’t bring enough food to feed themselves and their families.
YOU CAN’T FIX EVERY PROBLEM BUT YOU CAN FEED THEM.

Jesus wasn’t asking for a cost analysis of if they thought they had enough in their
budget to afford a MISSION’S OUTREACH.
Jesus wants to know who they are going to look to to meet the need.
Jesus is asking – Who is your source? Who is going to become YOUR SUPPLY?
Whose Economy will you depend on?
