The Gift (vs11)

Everyone is searching for life, meaning, or purpose beyond existence.

Eternal confidence cannot come from something with a beginning and end.

God is the source and He has given life.

The life that has been given is only in Jesus.

Receiving Life (vs12)

Only those who have Jesus will experience life.

Truly believing in Jesus is how anyone can receive Him (John 1:12).

When you have Jesus, you truly have life, and nothing can change that.

Knowing you Have Life (vs13)

The gospel of John was written so that we would believe in Jesus and

have life (John 20:31).

1 John was written so that we would know we have life.

False assurances of life are based on misconceptions about Jesus.

If you are a believer, you can have complete confidence that eternal life

is yours.
