Luke 5:27-39 tells a story of Jesus calling Christians to celebrate a new future. Jesus calls, Mathew celebrates, the Pharisees complain, and Jesus explains. When Jesus commands us to be commited Christians, he expects us to celebrate our call. Jesus explains that when he calls us to following him we can respond in one of two ways. We can complain or we can celebrate.
