Deadly Pride

Chosen- God has a plan (1-3)

Strangers are gathered together around Him

We have attached ourselves to Israel through Christ

Pride- God has an enemy (11-15)

Along with satan the wicked have proclaimed that they can become mighty without the plan of God

Pride makes us reject the plan of God ()

We do not want to be a part of his plan but want to have our own

Pride and self-exaltation only lead to death and destruction

Humility alows us to seek help in sickness and weakness

Purpose- God has a finish

We do not have the power to stop God or choose a different purpose for life

We cannot tell God that it is not fair

God has spread out his hands againts wickedness and pride and sin for destruction

Today we need to make a decision

He has also spread out his hands in invitation ()
