The Source of Hope:
The Source of Hope:
Jesus is the source of hope!
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Jesus is the source of hope!
Jesus didn’t come to make the imperfect person pay -
Jesus came to make it possible for the dead to have life again (spiritually & physically)
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
Personally Receive Hope:
Personally Receive Hope:
We can choose to reject hope or we can choose to receive it
Hope is a choice
18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
We receive hope by receiving faith through God’s Words of hope!
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
24 Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!
11 Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
ps
49 Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope.
Ps119
114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.
Ps 119.
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
12 Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.
Hope should have us captive!
3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—
17 Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, 18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
12 And this is why I am suffering as I do. Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day.
Be a Hope Dealer:
Be a Hope Dealer:
Don’t be a hope hoarder, be a hope dispenser!
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Give hope to others & you will reinforce your hope!
This is an unprecedented opportunity for the church to be a light in the darkness & a city built on a hill that cannot be hidden.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for the church to be a light in the darkness & a city built on a hill that cannot be hidden
We are MADE for this!!!
This is your time to shine brightly in the darkness.
12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—
Speak Hope Boldly
How is your health doing?
How is your mental health doing?

32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
We don’t have to be a theological genius, we just have to know Jesus!
Ask those around you:
How is your health & those in your family doing?
5 For we have found this man a perfect pest (a real plague), an agitator and source of disturbance to all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the [heretical, division-producing] sect of the Nazarenes.
How is your mental health doing?
Pray for their needs - physical or mental!!!

Just One Thing:
Stand up & Shine this week!!!
1 ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! 2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. 3 And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
