And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

Where does self-deception fit in? Where should we start?

Examination of My Actions

Is my conscience a problem?

Is my character changing for the better? Am I willingly accountable to anyone?

2. Examination of My Relationships

a. Are my relationships basically healthy?

b. Am I growing in my relationships?

c. Do I love other? Or only the natural loves of my life?

3. Examination of My Bedrock Beliefs

a. Do I sense God’s Presence? Do I know Him?

b. Do I find joy in the Gospel itself?

c. How has the resurrection changed me? Has hardness set in?
