Content in all things

Philippians 4:10–13 NKJV

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

1) The Apostle Paul Rejoices that their care has flourished. We care for you!

we care about whats going on with you.

we know you’d rather be here, at work or anywhere other than “told” you have to stay away from the places we love.

we know that you are afraid. many of us don't know how we are going to pay our bills. ect ect.

Here is what i know, God is not surprised. God has a plan.

if you have lost work I pray right now that God provide your every need.

if God has blessed you with abundance pray about meeting a need for someone.

2) Paul learned to be content in all times/

Philippians

Philippians 4:11 NKJV

11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

is it possible that God wants to teach her to be content in all things. how often is it that I have complained and complained about miner inconvenience.

how often have I complained about numbers in the sanctuary. today i had to decide which fifty people can come to help and maybe by Sunday which 10 are essential.

Philippians

Philippians 4:12 NKJV

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to role slim and I know how to role fat,

I have learned to be hungry and full.

to have a full wallet or empty.

3) we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Philippians 4:13 NKJV

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

we will get through this.

God will triumph in this.

Christ will strenghthen you.

you will be able to do all things that you need to do in this season.
