Luke 8:22–25 NKJV
22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. 23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. 25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”
Matthew 9:22–25 NKJV
22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. 23 When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, 24 He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. 25 But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
Luke 18:22–25 NKJV
22 So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
Luke 18:22–25 NKJV

18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.” 19 Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd. 20 And it was told Him by some, who said, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.” 21 But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” 22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. It happened on a certain day....
It happened on a certain day....
It happened … that’s life
Life brings storms - things happen -
The disciples didn’t think this storm was going to come that day
I’m sure not many people thought the things happening in the world today would be upon us
But things happen
They were afraid
They had a good many reasons to be afraid - there was water, wind, lightening ...
They also had at least one good reason not to be afraid -
Jesus was in the boat with them
Where is your Faith?

Where is Your Faith?

This is a good question for us today
Where is your faith in the midst of the corona virus epidemic?
Are you afraid?
Of course we should be concerned about these things - but don’t panic.
Are you looking at the storm?
Do you see only the waves and hear the thunder?
Or, can you hear the still small voice in spite of the thunder
Are you looking to Jesus, in this storm?
If so, what do you see?
A time to hide and “prepare” for the end
A time to rise and shine
WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?

We Are Going To The Other Side

So many people are asking me: Are these the events of the Revelation? Is this the end times?
The answer to that is “Yes”, and “not yet”
We have been in the “end times” for a while now.
Matthew 24:4–8 NKJV
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
mat
There are many signs that will occur. There will be viruses, and economic troubles, but the end is not yet.
This is not that. The trials that we are facing are light compared to what the bible discusses
But they should get our attention. We should consider the Word. These are a prelude
The signs mentioned in the bible,a nd the events prophesied are coming to pass, and will be fullfilled
not one jot or tittle will fail.
Christians will be here during these events also. Be ready.
So, there is time.
Get prepared
Matthew 24:46 NKJV
46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

Jesus Said To Them “Where Is Your Faith”?

It is clear from the bible that God wants us to have faith.
There are many dangers. How will you prepare?
So many Christians prepare by filling their storehouse, and loading their guns.
Really? My God people, where is your faith?
Is the only way to protect yourself from corona virus to use hand sanitize and isolate yourself?
I think we should be wise - but let your faith be in The Lord
Exodus 15:26 NKJV
26 and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
He said “I Am The Lord who heals you”
This is a time for confidence, not fear.
As Christians, we need to turn our faith to Jesus.
Pray for your health, and your families health, and believe
I think that some people can think themselves into being sick
I think that some people can believe themselves into being well also
Where is your faith
We need to pray for our City, and our Country.
Your prayers can and do make a difference,
Consider the example of David during the plague of his time
Or Gregory who we mentioned last week.
Remember the passover.
How have you prepared?

Do You Believe That He will Heal Our State?

In these times, we are tested. Will we pass the test?
What do we really believe?
Jesus asked a blind man what he believed:
Luke 8:25 NKJV
25 But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”
Matthew 9:28–30 NKJV
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.
Matthew 9:26–30 NKJV
26 And the report of this went out into all that land. 27 When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” 28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him.
I have had people ask me concerning these things to come:
So what are we supposed to do?
What about the tribulation: How are Christians supposed to survive?
There is only one right way: Know Your God
Daniel 11:32 NKJV
32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
If you Know Him, He will direct your paths.
That doesn’t mean do nothing.
That means, look to Him in everything you do.
If we are looking to Him, there is a great deal we will do.
But our preparation begins with faith: In Him
Yes, you should have some savings, supplies, plans for the future
It is good to have a plan, it is good to be wise
Yes, wash your hands, and take precautions.
But that will only prepare you for so much.
