The Enemy Doesn’t Fight You on Your Mountain, the Enemy Fights You in Your Valley

Between the two armies being posted up on two separate mountains, is a valley. It is important to understand the setup here. The reason is because the mountains represent each armies strategic advantage. The enemy doesn’t want to fight you where you are at a clear advantage, the enemy wants to fight you in the place you are the lowest. What the enemy does is wait for you to move from your place of advantage to a place where either the enemy has the advantage or you are at your lowest. This period of isolation has many of us in a disadvantage because we have been taken away from our busy lives that sometimes helps us forget about what is really going on in our lives, taken away our ability to meet in person because many of us have become so dependent on the social interaction of church, and has forced us to a place of stillness of which we do not like to be. Now the fight is on!
The fight is on with our minds, with our ministry, with our money, and with our momentum.

Words Hold Weight, When They Connect With What’s Already In You

Often we hear that courage is not the absence of fear. In fact this is true. It is not the absence of fear but more importantly the presence of faith. Faith that you will overcome, they you will be success, that it will work, that God is in control. The important thing is there is courage in faith. However, the presence of faith does not absolve you of the presence of fear. This is why the father of the boy with an unclean spirit state, “Lord, I believe, help though my unbelief!” in . In addition, Paul speaks of fighting the good fight of faith in because at times there is a struggle of faith that arises because of what is in front of me. Keep in mind, we are dealing with someone that is front of the army of God.
Goliath’s declaration connects with the fear that is already present within the children of Israel. As a result, where they once was courageous, they are now conflicted, because of what or who is in front of them. Sometimes the obstacles we face appear to be much larger than the faith or will we have to move forward. As a result, they become dismayed. This word in Hebrew simply means to be shattered. Broken into pieces. Not because of what was done, but because of what was said. As a result, their own minds began to conjure up the defeat before the battle really began.
Fighter like Ali would get into the minds of their opponent to get them to be defeated in their minds before they are ever defeated in reality.

The Challenge Produced a Ministry that Did Not Exist Before

In times of hardship and challenge, sometimes the most effective ministries are birthed. In fact, throughout history, some of the greatest inventions were formed during times of difficult moments. God is going to get the glory out of this. Not only in our city, not only in our state, not only in our country or the world, but also in you. This period has pushed some of to a place we did not think we could go. But yet we are here.
David was use to one type of ministry, feeding and tending the sheep. But because of the crisis, he is now thrown into being a carrier of resources to his brothers as they fight.

Remember to be flexible in these times because God may just shift your assignment.
