A Phobia is an irrational fear of something that is unlikely to cause them harm. It comes from the Greek word Phobos, which means fear or horror.

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

What is Paul telling Timothy?

Is he saying

++There is nothing to fear?

++To fear is a weekness?

In reality He is confirming some things?

He is confirming that God

++Has given us the tools for the fight

God Has given us

++A sound mind _Understanding_

How does these thing help us to overcome an irrational fear?
