We are CV mad at the moment
Felt it appropriate to offer a view of how we as Christians should understand to CV
I'm not an expert on CV or any medicinal challenges
The context we face
The context we face
CV is one of the many challenges we face as South Africans
Corrupt government
Strained economy
Deterioration of society
Overburdened infrastructure
CV is the latest challenge
It has probably been the biggest game changer, because of the unknowns and implications
People across the world are figuring out how to respond, with many panicking
How are we meant to respond?
How are we meant to respond?
Understand and place confidence in God's goodness and sovereignty
Understand that God has a broader view than you, so might have other, better, plans to achieve
Understand that for the Christian, there is no fear of death - Jesus has conquered the grave
Understand that there are those who do not have the confidence of trust, so share with them
Understand the tension between isolation and quarantine with the opportunity to serve and share - exercise discernment
Understand the uncertainty that lies ahead and start adjusting life to be flexible and unencumbered; CV will go away but the other issues are still here - this is not new requirement for Christian living

Understand that prayer is about God's agenda, not ours
