Theme: How we wait for God through suffering outside of our control. In the New Testament, Jacob is telling us that Job showed constancy and endurance in the midst of suffering. Job is an example of how to endure the trial so that we will know God deeply in our hearts. Suffering isn’t for nothing, God’s desire is to make us into his image. Jesus is coming and he will reward those who endure.
