I want to start today by just praising God for being part of such a great community of Jesus followers!

All week long I’m literally singing that old song “It’s the end of the world as we know it…and I feel fine!” And I do. I really do feel fine. In fact, I feel encouraged. I’m just so encouraged by our church. We had a hard week church and guess what…we made it! You made it! Hopefully you feel fine this morning or are ready to feel fine and are getting excited for what God is doing!
We distributed 100 grocery bags full of FRESH produce
We made hundreds of phone calls checking on our church family
Martha killed it getting fun kids stuff together
We provided jackets, hoodies and food items to several homeless in our neighborhood!
We stayed on mission!!!

Today we’re continuing God & Me. Last week we said, God is good and he is, isn’t he? WE can trust Him! This week we want to focus on God’s plan. God has as plan. But we need to understand God’s plan.
Ephesians 1:3–10 CSB
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ. For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him. He predestined us to be adopted as sons through Jesus Christ for himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he richly poured out on us with all wisdom and understanding. He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ as a plan for the right time—to bring everything together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth in him.

God’s plan is to restore order to a broken world through Jesus and we get to be a part of it.

A couple of years ago
For most Christians, seeking God’s will doesn’t look like fretting over career decisions, but learning how to live for God’s glory when the stakes are high and the costs are steep.
Why is this important?
Because

God’s plan is not always convenient for us!

God’s plan is good! In fact, it’s great!

God has a plan!

Know what God’s plan is about!

God planned for us to belong to His family.

Act like a child of God.

God planned for us to be known for our love.

Be known for love!
Transforms our character.
As we grow in love, we show love and demonstrate God’s power to transform our lives!

God planned for us to live witheternal hope!

Live with great expectation!
He adpoted all of us as “sons”! We have full rights & benefits as a legal heir of God.

God planned for us to be filled with Joy & Grattitude!

Let praise lead the way!
Freedom - We don’t have to live scared.
Forgiveness - We don’t have to live with guilt or regret
Grace - We don’t have to live helpless & powerless.

God planned for us to live in victory!

Have faith in the outcome!
If you belong to God’s family, act like it!
If you don’t belong to God’s family, get in on it.
