Hey friends, this is Pastor Greg here. I am coming to you in a new a different way. I'm trying out some new technology, and hopefully it will be effective. but the purpose of My shouting out to you right now is simply to bring you up-to-date on some things that are happening just to give you some reminders as well. As a reminder of Tomorrow. Tomorrow is Sunday and tomorrow we will be on Facebook live. one of the things I want to do is just to remind you of awesome promises from our God our God and gracious Heavenly Father. Peter said this our lord said this in John 16. I have said these things to you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take heart. I have overcome the world. What a beautiful beautiful promise that our God has overcome the world. No matter what's going on in our world today and are in our country people getting sick this pandemic that's running a muck. We can take heart because our lord Jesus has overcome the world. Here's another promise. He says this and Psalm 55 cast your burden on the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved. And that is you and me who confess Christ is Lord who believe in our heart by faith that God raised him from the dead. We are the righteous we are the ones that God has declared righteous. So whatever burdens we have whatever challenges we face.

Whatever trials and tribulations were going through you can be sure that God will never allow us to booby moved to that. He is taking care of us and will continue to take care of us. That brings me to remind you to pray for constantly being prayer for those who are sick. There are many people in our society today that are sick. I heard on the news yesterday that at this pandemic this covid-19 has reached Eau Claire and Chippewa Dunn County and counties and so many people are sick because of this pandemic. But on top of that we have many in our midst who are dealing with cancer and are going through treatments for cancer which suppresses the immune system, which makes them more susceptible to remember to pray for those in our congregation. Also her pray for those who are anxious many people are anxious nowadays more than ever before I was talking with friends on the phone just today is a matter of fact the Saturday morning and people who were once confident are now very very anxious to the point of being worried. That is not what God has in mind for us. He wants us to cast all our cares upon him because he cares for us. But people are worried and anxious and perhaps we might say for good reason because there are many who are unemployed right now because of this tragedy. My wife is one of them. She's lost her job when Panera Bread closed and I will be out of work for the next month. It looks like at least but I also received word that Nancy Decker young and her husband met young both lost their jobs this week were laid off from their jobs. I was up in Rice Lake yesterday getting my motorcycle serviced and what was once a business with a number of employees to be there to help from people on the sales floor to people in the motorclothes area to the mechanics and service writer that has now been reduced to a grand total of 5 employees used to be at least 20 now. It's 5:00. So a lot of people are losing their jobs because of this I say all of this to encourage you to remember to pray for them and if you haven't up to ticket or prayer request a prayer need to remember our congregations prayer chain, you can submit those prayer change request to Carol Johnson. At 715-723-1676 and she will make sure that the word gets out and that several people would begin to pray as Carol Johnson at 715-723-1676. So please remember to pray tomorrow. We're going to be talking about dead bones and we're going to be talking about how God preaches to dead bones the point of this message is that God's word is not only the source of Our Hope but it is also the means to bring hope and life struggles and I just want to share this passage from Ezekiel to you, which is our Old Testament reading for tomorrow. Let this is so encouraging the hand of the Lord Came Upon me and brought me out in the spirit of the Lord. And set me down in the wilderness of the valley and it was full of Bones. Then he caused me to pass by them all around and behold there were very many in the open Valley and indeed they were very dry. And he said to me son of man can these bones live so I answered? Oh Lord God. Do you know again? He said to me prophesy to these bones and say to them old dry bones hear the word of the Lord thus says the Lord God to these bones surely. I will cause breath to enter you and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you cover you with skin and put breath in you and you shall live then you shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded and as I prophesied there was a noise and suddenly a rattling and the bones came together bone to bone. Indeed as I look this in use in the flesh Came Upon them in the skin cover them over but there was no breath in them. So he said to me prophesy to the breads prophesize son of man and say to the breath thus says the Lord God come from the Four Winds o breath and breathe on the slain that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me and breast came into them and they lived and stood upon their feet and exceedingly great Army. Then he said to me son of man. These bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say our bones are dry. Our hope is lost and we ourselves are cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them thus says the Lord God behold. Oh my people I will open your Graves and cause you to come out from your Graves and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord when I have open your Graves so my people and brought you up from your Graves. I will put my spirit in you and you shall live and I will place you and your own land then you shall know that I the Lord have spoken it and performed it thus says the Lord. Wow. What a beautiful beautiful word of Hope. What a beautiful Word of Promise. That's the Lord Our God speaks to us and the midst of our despair. Just as he did to the people of old and not only in this passage does he promised us the resurrection to everlasting life? But he also promises us that we will live even though we look at appears like we are in a land full of dead bones. This is a little graphic. I came across that says the Lord your God to these bones behold. I will cause breath it or you and you shall live and that's exactly what God is doing for us even now and it's promising to us even now as we are at our lives are turned upside down as we are have been encouraged to remain at home. As a matter of fact, it was a Governor's executive order that everyone is to remain at home. And so it seems like our life is turned upside down. I know my life in many ways has that way I'm learning to do ministry in a brand-new way. It's hit-and-miss to be sure but God has promised that those who hear the word of the Lord will live then other words. He is going to get us through this reminds me of him that we're going to sing tomorrow His Eye Is on the Sparrow and I just want to I'm not going to sing it to you here cuz I don't have any music but I just want to remind you of some of the words. Why should I feel discouraged? Why should the Shadows come why should my heart be lonely and long for heaven and home when Jesus is my portion. My constant friend. Is he His Eye Is on the Sparrow and I know he watches me. I Sing Because I'm happy I'm sing because I'm free for his eyes on the sparrow. And he watches over me and it goes on let not your heart be troubled. His tender word. I hear and then we sing the course again. I Sing Because I'm happy I sing because I'm free for His Eye Is on the Sparrow and I know he watches me and I'll listen to this whenever I am tempted whenever clouds arise when songs give place to side when hope within me dies. I draw the closer to him from care. He sets me free. His Eye Is on the Sparrow and I know he cares he watches me so I just want to encourage you dear friends and Christ that our Lord Is Watching Over Us he is caring for us.
