The first emotion explicitly referred to Adam and Eve’s fear of God after they eat the forbidden fruit.
Fear is quite naturally the logical consequence of sin.
My kids when they do something wrong they change,
My dog when he does something wrong they change ,
In the parable of the talent Jesus told of a man whose fear prevented him from doing his reasonable duty.

28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
26 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
27 What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Jesus taught that we should fear Him.
Jesus taught that we should fear Him.
The antidote to such fear is the conviction that God is able to protect and to accomplish His will and that His promises cam be trusted.
Mattew 10:28
i love the story of the prophet Elisha
15 When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”
16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
