We will be looking at a very familiar text The disciples in ability to see their abilities that they already possess because all they could see was Jesus, and how it correlates with how many times we are prone to defer to others greatness when we are called to our own greatness. We have three amazing women that broke the mold during a very racially oppressed time in our country. The time was 1962 there were colored only and whites only facilities. A place and time when people of color didn’t have a voice. How many times have you shrunk your voice because of repented sin? I’m not talking about the stuff you haven’t repented of, I’m talking about that stance where it tells us “to stand fast there in the liberty where with Christ has made us free, being not entangled in the yoke of bondage which is sin” type of standing.

What is the bondage you are speaking of Pastor Terrance? You know the fact that you were created to establish and create wealth, but instead you choose to stay at that bi-weekly job. Listen we will never reach our greater without giving up things greatly! The maximum level of greatness that you have to reach takes you having to reach levels of great, and then you have to give up greatly again just to maintain that level of great. Oh you though you do something great one time that is all that it takes? FALSE! Name one that never had to continue being great and is still worth talking about right now.... Go ahead, I’ll wait. You can not and you will not be able to give me one. Jesus was the greatest sacrifice and He too performed at an indescribable rate of Great EVERY TIME! Even at His lowest he was still operating at His greatest capacities. So what does that mean for us? We need to re-evaluate our lives just like these three women pioneers.

You have Katherine Johnson who was a pivotal component as an orbital mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics were critical to the success of the IS crewed spacecraft. Oh she was also a widow ( you see this here is a single mom of three amazing daughters come on she was a #GirlMom who had to rise above the all of her adversities).

Then you have Dorothy Vaughn a born leader and a human computer who worked for both NACA and NASA. She became the first African American to supervise a group of staff at the center that housed one of the first IBM mass calculators. She was constantly overlooked, but yet over qualified for the seat that she sat in.

Mary Jackson who carried a BS in Mathematics and Physical Science who couldn’t become an Engineer because they red lined her and she then took that policy to court which ultimately caused them to overturn the policy, and to then become the first African American Aeronautical Engineer not even carrying an Engineering degree.

There are just some things that we have ability to do, but will require some effort to establish. Yes you will have to prove yourself, not every time will there be moments where you just come into greatness without having to prove yourself. Listen some will still doubt you once you’re there, but again that’s ok. Tell yourself,” I am the law maker earth needs and the reason why only I see it is because I am the one to create it. What I don’t see needs me to establish it.” #IWILL

It takes a certain type of will in a person to get to a point when you are tired of having the doors shut in your face time after time after time, knowing you are qualified. Greater is He that is in me, that’s WHY!!! I am possible to get this done, it is not IMPOSSIBLE. We make it impossible when we do not consider the GOD inside of us. He is able to do it but not without you. Is there anything too hard for the GOD IN YOU? NO!!! I love how Karl Zielinski polish Jew that was a senior engineer that asked her why didn’t she become an engineer when she clearly had an engineers mind. She says I don’t entertain the impossible, where Zielinski responds of what he endured by being on a concentration camp, but now is helping NASA build space ships to get to the moon. He then expressed to her,” WE ARE ALREADY LIVING THE IMPOSSIBLE!”

It is so interesting how the disciples were trying to figure out what Jesus meant by his statement of,”in a little while,” but the fact of the matter is that if they were smart they would have already witnessed that they have already lived through 3 1/2 of some of the most impossible years of ALL of humanity. What happens when what has covered you can no longer cover you, because it is your time? When it is YOUR TIME, IT IS JUST THAT, YOUR TIME! You can not look at what it takes to make whatever happen, here is the thing what does it matter of,” what it takes, if you already have the solution.” So now is it really impossible we should be out here doing the work of the Father with EXCEEDING JOY and an unquenchable HOPE according to , a fire like we have never known. We do not operate from crisis, we operate from the solution. I get what you have gone through and where you come from, but again God has made you the solution to what you have not been able to get through.

Be strong, and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you!!! You hear that I feel like Shep when he playing Duane Martin in Above the Rim and,” He goes you hear that Nutso (his best friend) the boy says he owes me...” Then he looks back down at Duane Martin and tells him,” you don’t owe me nothing.” The fact of the matter is the only thing we owe GOD IS RESULTS!!! God is not impressed by you doing what you were created to be, that is the worlds system that does this micro checks and balances with your achievements. God is looking for the integral finished product. That is why my favorite scripture is . He is looking for me to get it done, shout back at me in the comment section and give me a big ole country Get’r Done!!! #GetRDone

Your testimony is proof of the impossible! Say it only if you believe it!

It is my job in this apostolic capacity as building the architecture of this church and as senior pastor to teach you the importance of your purpose, not your potential. God did not create us with potential, He created us with a purpose! There was an intention when he created us, not a possibility. God doesn’t guess when He does anything. That’s why the Bible declares many are the plans (desires, opinions, thoughts) in the heart of the man, but it is the Lord’s purpose, not His potential that will prevail! You were created with purpose, so come out of hiding, and walk in the open! It is my job to establish a culture in this place a sense of urgency of mobilization in this house. So consider today to be the day you receive you moving papers even as honorary members for watching this live feed. It is MOVING DAY, so let’s get MOVING!!!

What happens when we come to the realization that we are already living the impossible? Doing what seems difficult becomes more maneuverable and breathable. I don’t know about you, but for me some times when I see something I have never done it is like the room begins to close on me, but then I come to my senses and remember who gave me this thought and ability, and this influence, and then I turn back to Him and say,” Well....go on… show me what I need to do with all that you have shown me. I don’t have all day either, clock is ticking God, LOL....” Oh y’all don’t talk to Him like that? Well He knows all of His kids, and He knows that this one will start trying to do it on his own, but now being where I am now I can not do that, get this even as a husband first and foremost if I am not led I can not lead others.

Remember this,” If I am not led, then I am not fit to Lead.”

What happens when we look at what we have been living through and though we have failed still achieved the impossible?

Grace to live is the primary Agent of achieving the impossible! We have been hidden long enough. God bring us into these awakenings when we encounter these moments in our lives.

Katherine Johnson lived to be 102 years old, 102! Some of us will not live to tell about it, but will also live to see the fruits of our labor through an assortment of ways.

Some of us have be alive, and walking around and hidden in plain sight.

He brought out of darkness and into His wonderful light.

See what happens when you are too busy watching another person’s movement especially when that mover is the very one teaching you how to move on your own. Jesus taught and teaches us how to embrace the beauty of our process and the day when we are trusted with the lead responsibility calling shots in a way with the course of our life. The question is,” At this moment can you be trusted to move? Can you be trusted with being a mover? What have you effectively moved out of His way for your purpose?” Have we gotten rid of:

-The opinions of how others did it?

-The opinion of what others think of you doing it?

-What if I fail at doing it?

-Why me?

-How did I waste so much time when I could have been gotten this accomplished?

When you are just a player on a team and lose sight that you have just as much as an impacting role as the lead role in the game, you will embrace your part in every aspect of the victory and not look at it as just the star on the team reason for winning the game. Remember MJ, Kobe, LeBron none of these guys are great by themselves they all needed strong supporting casts around them to win their championships.

Father, I thank you for this time of sobriety and reality check that I have been living beneath my awesomely created life that you seen fit to establish me to have. Now Lord I take back the authority to live in the open in confidence, and with peace that I am destined to win in every area of my life. I repent right now and for living beneath my amazing birthright and privilege as your child. Lord Jesus I am here and from this day forward show me how to MOVE like you did when you sent yourself in flesh as only Jesus did. I am forever grateful and from this day forward I am doing just that MOVING FORWARD!
