Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

what was wrong -

Politics has been mixed with the defense - Elders

Tribalism has been mixed the defense - Act 6:1-2

Financial gain was mixed the defense - John 2:13-16

Personal gain was also mixed with defense - Mark 6:14-29

All these led to the spring up of difference Sect. Pharisee, Sadducee, Sanhedrin etc couple with the Roman government invasion in those centuries.

Is it wrong to defend the faith -
