following, leading, authority, and influence.
Leading when you’re young is a hard thing to do.
But in this season that we’re in, it is more important then ever for you to step up, step out, and lead. We have a world that is hurting and they need a church that loves them.
I want to share a few thoughts from Paul’s first letter to Timothy.
Timothy was a young pastor leading the church in a city called Ephesus.
And Paul wrote to him a letter of encouragement and instruction.
You might be thinking, well I’m not a pastor, so this doesn’t apply to me.
I want to challenge you on that.
The work of the pastor is to shepherd the people of God. Simply put, pastors take care of people and point them to Jesus.
You are capable of doing that, and I’m calling you to do that. You all have friends and family members who need to be loved and pointed to Jesus right now.
