Ms Betty. Was part of the kitchen crew when came to Pine Grove 10 years ago. She was the last one.

She was a part of the choir.

She had a Monday bible ladies study in her home.

She was faithful church member. She was a encouraging church member.

My last memory of her was a week ago. David and ranees house.

Today we come together of celebrate her life. But, its a little different. We’re not able to meet in the church. We are outside, with a few family members.

We what we having go on today, with this virus is a time of uncertainty. How long will this last? Will they find the meds to take care of it? People can’t go to work? No school.

During a time of uncertainty, there is one thing we can be certain of. That is that Ms Betty is in heaven today. At 3:45 am Sunday. Her struggles were over.

Life is not easy, there are always going to b difficult times. But, when we put out trust in Jesus, He will get us through any storm that will come out way.

Mark 4:35–41 NKJV

35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

VS 35 Jesus said, over side, but He didn’t say it would be easy. When Ms Betty asked Jesus to save her, He did, but there never a promise that there will never be any storms in her life.

There is the promise of Heaven for those like Ms Betty who put their faith and truth in Jesus.

Look what happen after Jesus says lets go to the other side.

VS 37 Storms in life can make us feel like we are sinking. dementia, that is a terrible storm.

VS 38 Jesus was sleep, but He was still with them.

VS 39 He gave them peace.

Mark 5:1 NKJV

1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.

Ms Betty went through a great storm. Jesus was always wit her. Sunday morning she made to the other side that was promised to her.
