It’s Your Choice pt3

Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess. . For the last few weeks this is what we have been starting with. We must all learn to understand and comprehend how important the choice is between life and death!

. We need to be choosing life everyday, not everyday works out how we want it to but regardless of circumstance we still have the choice everyday to choice life for ourselves and for those around us.

Proverbs 18:21 NKJV

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

. The tongue is an incredibly powerful thing! this scripture alone should paint for us a picture of how important it is that we use the words that we speak to impart life

. The words that you speak will determine the effectiveness of your life for the kingdom of God.

. and the words that you speak about God will determine the effectiveness of your faith!

. your faith will only be as effective as you say that it is, you cannot say that you have faith in God but then always complain that you don't have enough.

. you cant say that you have faith, but then speak negatively about aspects of your life continuously. ( its OK to have a bad day/ not be happy with something, but if that something becomes the focus of your words then your not speaking in faith.)

.This next one may be a little touchy to some people

. but you cant say that you have Faith in God, and then be complaining about the current lock down situation that we are all facing, either you believe that God is in control or you don't.

. the way that you speak about what is going on in the world at the moment will determine whether you come out the other side of this season full of Faith/Life or full of Doubt/Death.

. In this time perhaps more than ever before it is so important that you take control over the words that you are choosing to speak, you need to take control of your peace!

. What i mean by this is that you need to speak and declare over yourself and over your family peace during this time ( Jesus is our source of peace ) but we all need to take responsibility to speak this over our own lives.

. I know that your Pastors and leaders will be praying this for you as well during, but i believe that God is wanting all of his people to take some of the responsibility on themselves.

. Remember YOU ARE THE CHURCH! the church is not the building that you have been meeting in for however long the church is you, its all of us who believe.

. And all of you who believe have the same right according to scripture to go before the throne of God with boldness and confidence! As a church lets use this season that we are in to spend more time then ever before at the throne of God.
