Why Jesus?
A Friend In Need
Proverbs 18:24
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Proverbs 27:6
Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.
Lessons from Lord of the ring
One of the lessons The Lord of the Rings
fellowship of Friendship and team effort reinforces the fact that working together helps us overcome life’s obstacles and difficulties amid fears and temptation. To trust when we shouldn’t.
Of all the many life lessons, we can learn from the epic movie, “Lord of the Ring”, friendship and team effort come paramount in my judgment. No matter how strong, or weak or courageous we are, when we are faced with a challenging situation (enemy) the fellowship of friendship will be one of our greatest sources of strength.
