In Pastor Luke's first sermon here with us, he shares the heart behind his pastoral ministry, and his passion for making Christ known through all of scripture. He breaks down the different ways we can read the Bible, and reminds us of the important truth that, no matter what, all scripture ultimately should point us to Christ. If you are watching at hhbf.ca, You can find our worship songs and prayer points by clicking the sermon name below the video, which will take you to our Faithlife group.

Prayers:

Please pray for:

- Our provincial, national, and world leaders, for wisdom and guidance as they seek to respond to COVID-19 in the best possible ways.

- Our Northern BC region, that God would continue to shield and protect us from the worst effects of of the crisis, and that our communities will continue to respond with wisdom, discernment, and kindness.

- Our key frontline workers: doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, firefighters, social services workers, store workers, teachers, postal workers, utilities workers, transport workers, and all of the other people who have no choice but to continue to work, irrespective of the risk, to keep our communities running smoothly.

- All of those in our community who are isolated or struggling due to the lack of social contact. Pray that they will know the comfort and fellowship that only Christ can give, and that their relationship with Him will sustain, uplift, and encourage them.

- For our fellow Churches here in Northern BC, as we seek to continue to serve our community, and be Christ's hands and feet, without being able to meet in person.

- Anyone known to us with specific needs at this time -- Please also feel free to post a prayer request to our Prayers page on Faithlife.com with specific details.
