These are the two main points of Ephesians 5.3-20. Not the only points but some of the main points.
Main Point: Submit to one another.
Submitting is a choice.
It cannot be forced or mandated.
Submitting is done out of love.
Submitting forces us out of selfishness.
Submitting is about the Gospel.
This is the point, I believe, Paul makes is Titus 2.5 when he talks about similar household codes and says, “so that no one will malign the word of God.”
Why: Because Christ died for the church.
Christ has made us holy, today!
This is another reason why we can submit to one another.
We, are Christ’s body.
